Glow Plug Indicator

• The glow plug indicator in a Jeep is usually located on the instrument cluster and will illuminate or flash if the computer detects that there is an issue with the glow plug system. 
• The glow plug symbol in a Jeep looks like a double looped coil and is yellow or orange in color. It transforms into a glow plug warning light if it takes the engine a long time to heat up and the light stays on for longer than 10 – 15 seconds
• Glow plug; makes the engine easier to operate by heating the combustion chamber, which is cold during the first ignition of the vehicle
