COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN AND ANALYSIS LAB

In the Computer-Aided Design and Analysis Lab, students utilize specialized software to design and simulate mechanical systems. They create 3D models of engineering components and assemblies, perform stress analysis, and evaluate the performance of designs under various conditions. This lab prepares students for modern engineering practices, where computer simulations play a pivotal role in the design and optimization process.

OBJECTIVES

  • Gain working knowledge in Computer Aided Design and modelling procedures.
  • Gain knowledge in creating solid machinery parts.
  • Gain knowledge in assembling machine elements.
  • Gain working knowledge in Finite Element Analysis.
  • Solve simple structural, heat and fluid flow problems using standard software
