On 21st August 2024, IEEE SIGHT GECW organized an LED Bulb Making Workshop at Vijaya Higher Secondary School, Pulpally, with 50 NSS students participating. The workshop, inaugurated by Principal K. S. Sati, began with a session on the benefits of LED technology and its role in sustainable development. Students were guided through assembling LED bulbs, emphasizing safety and proper handling. By the end, all participants successfully assembled functional bulbs, which will be distributed to underprivileged communities, aligning with IEEE SIGHT's mission of leveraging technology for community service. The event was a success, inspiring students to use technical knowledge for societal impact.
