✅ Eligibility

Candidates with 60% or above in B.Tech are eligible to participate in the spot admission process.

Candidates who have not applied for M.Tech through the MCAP DTE portal are also eligible to attend the spot admission.

Candidates should report to the venue with the required documents from 09:30 AM to 11:00 AM on 07-08-2026.

Candidates who are not included in the MCAP rank list can also manually register at the venue with all required documents, including the Transfer Certificate (all documents must be in original).

Candidates reporting after 11:00 AM will not be considered for allotment.

Documents to be submitted for the spot allotment process

  1. Candidates already admitted to an Engineering College under the MCAP allotment.
    • Admission Slip issued by the college last admitted
    • No Objection Certificate (for all admitted colleges other than Govt. Engineering Colleges/ Aided Engineering Colleges/ Govt. co-shared Engineering Colleges like CAPE, IHRD, SCTCE, etc.)
  2. Other Candidates
    • If studying in an institution, a Possession Certificate issued by the institution mentioning the list of the certificates in their possession & No Objection Certificate (both in original or by mail to the Principal (principal@gecwyd.ac.in) from the head of the institution) and all the remaining certificates in original
    • If not studying in any institution, Degree Certificate and all other documents in original, including TC and Conduct Certificate
  • Candidates who cannot attend the allotment process in person due to unavoidable personal exigencies can authorize a representative to attend the allotment process on his/her behalf. Such representatives should submit an authorization letter in the prescribed format. No other format will be acceptable. [See “annexure K” in MCAP Prospectus 2026] (Click here)
  • Those who get allotment on the spot should take admission to the college on the same day with all the required documents. No further extension for joining will be given under any circumstances.
  • General fees need to be paid by all candidates taking admission in spot allotment except those who had already taken admission in WYD after the second allotment. PTA, CDF and bus funds are also to be paid.
