The IEEE SB GEC Wayanad and the College of Engineering Thalassery collaboratively organized an online talk session titled “Global Space Ecosystem: Opportunities and Challenges” on 29th August 2024 via Google Meet. The session was led by Mr. Adarsh AN, a scientist at ISRO’s Liquid Propulsion Systems Centre (LPSC), who provided a comprehensive overview of the rapidly evolving global space industry. He highlighted the growing involvement of private players, international collaborations, and emerging career opportunities in areas such as satellite technology, propulsion systems, and data analytics. Mr. Adarsh also addressed pressing challenges like space debris management, regulatory concerns, and sustainability in the space sector. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where participants gained valuable insights and guidance, leaving them inspired to explore and contribute to the field of space technology.
