The Parent Teacher Association of Government Engineering College Wayanad is very active and is giving considerable assistance and financial support for the improvement of facilities within the institution. A large number of developmental programmes have been taken up under the patronage of the PTA for the benefit of students and staff, including the funding for the establishing departmental libraries for the faculty. A few developmental programmes are under consideration for implementation. The present office bearers of the PTA are :

President  : Mr. Sahadevan

Secretary  : Mr. Subin P Joseph, Assistant Professor(Mathematics)

Treasurer  : Mr. Sminesh C. N., Assistant Professor(CSE)

The Vice President and the Executive Committee members of the PTA are elected from among the parents, every year.
