A student chapter of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is functioning in the college from the academic year 2003-'04. The student branch organizes technical quizzes, seminars and other contests among students. Invited lectures by experts from industry and other academic institutions are also conducted. The office bearers of the branch are elected from pre-final and final year students. Sri. Gilesh M. P., Asst. Prof. in CSE is the student counselor of the branch at present. The branch is attached to IEEE Kerala section. Student membership can be taken either online (url: www.ieee.org/login) or by approaching the student brach secretary.
